It identifies the "polyphony of praying winds" as the power of the Noh play Sumida-gawa and explores the possibilities of Noh through an examination of a structure of prayer that can respond compassionately to despair.
Sugimoto and Saito believe that culture has the power to connect people across borders and generations.
